Page Will Lead US Sailing

US Sailing has selected a new chief of Olympic Sailing for United States Sailing, the new name is 470 gold medalists for two times Malcolm Page.


Page will take over his responsibility from beginning of the New Year. So, for Page start of the New Year will be the start of new responsibilities. Appointment of Page has been done after Josh Adams.

United States Sailing President Bruce Burton said upon the selection of page as Chief of Olympic Sailing “Expertise and experience in sailing makes Malcolm the best selection to lead the team of US. We want to build same progress that we had in the 2016 Rio Olympic and we think Malcolm will help the team to achieve it. “Malcolm has tremendous ability to top level matches and he has been the part of winning system. With his great personality, he will efficiently bring coaches and athletes together and take out the best in them. The US team is already on its high performance and will become stronger in his leadership.”

In the Australian history of sailor of Olympic Class Malcolm has wide exposure and he has been accepted as best. He has received honors for his great work many times and his name is also present in “Best of the Best” of Australian sports 2011. Not only this, but also he has been inducted in Hall of Fame of Australia this year itself.

“United States Sailing team has a big track record in the Olympics; they have won the maximum number of medals among team in the world. The athletes are best in their performance. I am really excited to be the part of a team where sport is at the highest level. Being the part of such a wonderful team is itself a reward. However, I will try to bring back the team of US sailing back to top.”
